On the evening of Tuesday, May 6, 2025, Immm Rice and Beyond partnered with Haibayo to host a truly special celebration: the Songkran Khantoke Dinner. This unique cultural dining event brought together friends, food lovers, and community members for a night of storytelling, tradition, and Thai hospitality—Khantoke-style.

Held at Immm, the venue came alive with laughter, bright Hawaiian shirts, and the welcoming aromas of Northern Thai cuisine. From the moment the doors opened at 6:00 PM, guests were greeted by the warm and festive ambiance that set the tone for the night.

At 6:30 PM, the evening officially began with a special food talk led by Chef/Owner Dew Suriyawan. With heartfelt storytelling and personal insight, Chef Dew introduced guests to the Khantoke tradition—a communal Lanna-style meal from Northern Thailand that celebrates hospitality, heritage, and togetherness. Her passion and knowledge brought deeper meaning to the dishes that would follow, connecting everyone not just to the flavors, but to the cultural roots behind them.

By 7:00 PM, the main event began: Khantoke trays filled with Northern Thai dishes—spicy chili dips, rich curries, fresh vegetables, and sticky rice—were served free to all guests, showcasing the heart of traditional Khantoke dining.

To pair with the meal, the Mao Bar featured two Songkran-themed cocktails:

The Mango Sticky Rice – A mango and coconut-infused drink inspired by the classic dessert.
Jasmin-Tini – A jasmine tea martini with a floral, elegant twist.

These festive drinks perfectly complemented the flavors of the night.
